One of the best unknown spots in Odenton. The basement bar is truly a well known secret. The menu is similar to another well known and favorite spot. We stayed a while, and the sports favorites are always playing on the tv!

As a basement bar, the ambiance alone is worth the trip. From the moment you walk in (after wandering down the stairs), you are immediately struck by the inviting and stylish atmosphere. What used to be incredibly divey, is now updated. The decor is now modern, warm and comfortable, kinda sorta like a basement dwelling speakeasy! Making it the perfect place for a casual dinner, sport watching spot or a loud night out (like karaoke). They stay open r e a l l y late for this area--depending the days it is either 12am or 2am. I believe they are owned and operated by the restaurant down the street--The Hideaway? Parking is incredibly small and the surrounding homes WILL call the police to have you towed. Darts, jukebox and karaoke.

FINALLY!!! I finally got to this bar. What a great welcome from Jennifer and the other patrons that welcomed me and my guest. I had a drink and brisket rolls, OMG! So delicious. It was a very welcoming atmosphere with a "Cheers" vibe. I will be back, regularly.

HOLY COW THIS IS MY 1000TH REVIEW! It doesn't get much more divy than this LOL! In the midst of the relatively quiet area that is Odenton is a lone building... I have no idea what's on the first floor, but down below, you've got a whole bar! There are darts and semi-giant Jenga to play at your leisure. There's a fairly large bar and plenty of seating around to get yourself settled. On this Saturday evening there happened to be karaoke, YAY!! The way they do it, you can see the queue and even get the app on your phone so you know exactly when it'll be your turn. Prices of things seem quite reasonable, and with the darts and Jenga to enjoy, you and your friends shouldn't have anything short of a good time. It's a bit of a hike for me to go on the regular, especially during rush hour. Glad to know they aren't far from my tattoo guy though! I'll be back.

Interesting neighborhood. Kind of looks like a converted basement into a bar. Parking lot is very small so you may have to park in the neighborhood. Small selection of alcoholic beverages and a limited amount of space. I took a seat at the bar. A few televisions around the bar to watch sporting events. I went on a Thursday so the football game was on. I ordered some of the old bay wings with a beer ti was it down. Food was good and the service was great as well. Would definitely come back again. Prices are reasonable and affordable.

It's a bar with kinda typical bar food that is located in the basement of the owners home I believe. It has limited space with limited parking. That being said, it is still a great spot to go to. They have great drinks, friendly servers, nightly specials, and one of those jukeboxes om the wall that let you play music from your phone using a certain app. My friends and coworkers LOVE this place and how low key it is. The crowd has always been friendly too and willing to share large tables amongst small groups if it is a particularly packed night. I have a gf sensitivity so when I go I have to opt for the ciders and smoked wings but both are very tasty and they have numerous sauce options for the wings so you won't feel left out! Also, this place is not cash only as stated in an older review!

This is a great neighborhood bar. We came in after a thrilling night of mini golf and the good times kept rolling. On Saturday nights, karaoke is featured. The crowd is extremely supportive so you don't have to be the next great singer. The bar staff and the customers were extremely welcoming and made us feel like old friends even though it was our first time. The food and drinks are solid and reasonably priced. I can recommend the fried ribs and the crab tater tots to soak up some of that liquid courage. If I'm ever randomly mini golfing on a Saturday night/happen to be in Odenton for some reason, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Buck Murphy's is legit. We came last weekend on a whim and ended up having a great time. The food was good and the drinks were strong. It's one of those places that you wouldn't expect to be what it is walking in. We went on karaoke night, and the crowd was very mixed, but everyone got along and interacted with each other. I walked through the door and immediately got dapped up by the gentleman who was easily pushing 80. It's weird/quirky stuff like this that I enjoy. I hate a stiff divided room, where nobody speaks. I came back on my bday and got drinks with my wife. It was Wednesday so it wasn't as crowded, but it was still a good time. I can easily see this becoming a go-to spot to chill and catch a game or just hang out...

I lived across the street for a year, and this became one of my go-to bars. The bartenders here were absolutely amazing and always super personable... they made you feel like a regular even after a very short time! Even though the beer selection wasn't huge, it was usually pretty diverse so you could find something for all preferences. I love the food here, and as a total french fry connoisseur, I must say they have my favorite fries encountered to date! They are these wide but thin cut fries (kind of like a steak fry cut super thin) but have the perfect amount of soft potato to crunchy skin ratio. I have come here just for a beer and a basket of fries! Their happy hour menu is also fantastic. You can get some great food for really cheap! We would frequently come here during our work lunch hour (we worked evenings) for good food and free darts! They have plenty of TV's for sports games. It's a small space so when they're really crowded, it can be hard to find a spot and it can slow down service. Still, this was one of my favorite spots to go during my time in Maryland!
